Drew + Henry's Wedding at The Foundry LIC

Next up on the 2023 wedding blogging are Drew and Henry’s wedding at The Foundry in Long Island City! Where to begin with this wedding! As we all know I have a huge sweet spot for high school sweethearts. Jeff and I started dating at sixteen years old so I love hearing about other people in similar situations! These two are not only high school sweethearts, but their families are close as well which was so sweet to see. When you’re together for that long it’s so nice to see two families truly becoming one. Drew also has the biggest flex because her outfit change…. WAS HER PROM DRESS!!! I’m sorry, but who fits into their prom dress at their wedding AND who actually picked a cute prom dress?? If I had wore my prom dress to my wedding it would NOT be cute. But of course, Drew freaking ROCKED it and it was such a special touch to their big day! This wedding was so beautiful from the perfect weather, to the gorgeous florals, to the elegant vibes - unmatched. They chose to have a chill vibe with tables, but no assigned seating and no formal sit down dinner. Just eat when you felt like it, dance if you felt like it, and mingle all night long. The outside patio was set up all night for mingling and casual vibes and the band was on the floor inside keeping the dance party going.
